Little Trophy Moments

Little Trophy Moments

Had a small but super rewarding moment last week.

A set of docs and course links I’d put together for a customer got shared by someone in a different department.

No one asked them to—just saw value and passed it on.

I actually paused and took note of it. I call these “trophy moments”—little wins I like to come back to when I need a boost or want to remind myself what meaningful work feels like.

Sometimes when I need motivation, I check usage stats of old wiki pages or dashboards I built. Just seeing they’re still being used—quietly helping someone—is enough.

It reminded me how much it means when someone shares or acknowledges your work. And how important it is to do the same for others.

Seth Godin said it well:

“The most rewarding thing for an artist is the realization that their gift has made a difference to someone else.”

Exactly that feeling.
